Effective date: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RegalBuzz (“RegalBuzz,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit https://regalsbuzz.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
We collect information you choose to share with us, including when you:
- Subscribe to our newsletter – typically your email address and, optionally, your name.
- Use our contact form or email us – your name, email address, the subject of your message and any details you include, such as a suggested local business or a correction request.
- Interact with us in other ways – for example, by responding to a survey or reaching out on social media.
Our newsletter and contact forms are built with Elementor forms, and submissions are stored and processed on our website platform so we can respond to you.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, time spent on pages, approximate location (such as city or region derived from your IP address) and the date and time of your visit. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, such as health information, financial account details or government identification numbers, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain and improve the Site and our content;
- Send newsletters and updates you have requested, which you can unsubscribe from at any time;
- Respond to your messages, tips, correction requests and partnership inquiries;
- Understand how readers use the Site through analytics so we can improve our guides;
- Detect, prevent and address spam, fraud, security issues and technical problems;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK Visitors)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, newsletter subscriptions and non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Site and responding to inquiries; and compliance with our legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers – with trusted vendors that help us run the Site, such as web hosting, website and form tools, email delivery and analytics providers. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
- Advertising and affiliate partners – we may display advertising or include affiliate links in the future. If we do, these partners may collect information through cookies or similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy, and we will update this policy accordingly.
- Legal requirements – when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process or a government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of RegalBuzz, our readers or others.
- Business transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or similar transaction, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent – in any other situation where you have given us permission.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences and measure how the Site is used. Analytics tools help us understand which guides are most useful. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, our cookie consent tool. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Contact form submissions and emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable records. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of our analytics providers. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Rights for EEA and UK residents
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Rights for California and other U.S. state residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA”), may give you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion or correction of your personal information; and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
We do not currently sell personal information. If we introduce advertising that involves “sharing” as defined by the CCPA, we will provide a clear opt-out method and honor recognized browser opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required by law.
How to exercise your rights
To make a request, email us at contact@regalsbuzz.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. We aim to respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link included in every email.
9. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have data protection laws different from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
Our guides frequently link to restaurants, shops, venues and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
12. Do Not Track
Because there is no consistent industry standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Site does not currently respond to them, except for legally recognized opt-out signals described above.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements and will revise the effective date above when we do. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
14. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please email contact@regalsbuzz.com or visit our Contact Us page.
